In the event of the temperature of a gas falling below its dew point, the water vapour it contains condenses to form drops of liquid water. Condensation traps are an essential accessory for separating condensation from the process gas in coolers of all kinds. AIRSEC designs and manufactures condensation traps for all types of gases, and caters for a full range of efficiency levels in terms of drop size.

A condensation drainage system is indispensable in any pneumatic facility in which water vapour condensation is produced. The presence of condensation is not only detrimental to all pneumatic facilities due to the corrosion problems that it entails, but also as a consequence of the high likelihood of liquid water reaching the points at which the process gas is used. AIRSEC can design and manufacture the most appropriate drainage system for every situation. We offer mechanical and electrical drainage systems for positive and negative working pressures, for areas categorised on the basis of the ATEX regulations.

Process-related requirements make it necessary to raise the temperature of a gas once it has undergone treatment of some description. AIRSEC designs and manufactures heaters for all kinds of gases at any working pressure, using a range of materials, in accordance with the specific needs of the process involved. Heat sources may be electric or steam-based.

In the case of it being necessary to reduce the ambient relative humidity of a confined area, such as a computer room, a documentation centre or a warehouse, AIRSEC offers dehumidifiers that can be used for that purpose.

The hydration of hygroscopic liquids stored in tanks or large containers, due to the inevitable entry of air saturated to a greater or lesser degree with humidity, which occurs when introducing and draining liquid, has well known negative effects.
To avoid such a contingency, AIRSEC offers RENIFLARD cartridges. They consist of a metal recipient, of a suitable volume, within which an easily accessible cartridge designed to contain the appropriate desiccant material is housed. The upper part of the recipient is connected to the air chamber in the tank or container, while its lower end runs out to the atmosphere via a shut-off valve and liquid at a constant level. When the tank or container is being filled, the air expelled therefrom bubbles through the liquid and passes unhindered through the shut-off valve. During drainage operations, on the other hand, the negative pressure created inside the tank is compensated by air drawn from the outside and which is dehydrated upon passing though the RENIFLARD cartridge. |

The drying quality of the stream of a pneumatic facility is determined by its dew point value. AIRSEC designs and manufactures dew point metering systems to be connected up to actual dryers, as well as in the form of portable units. Fitting a dew point meter to an adsorption dryer in which regeneration is carried out by means of heating makes it possible to extend the drying cycle on the basis of the quality of the gas obtained.
